Toyota Motor has purchased Test Advantage’s Streetwise software platform to support its zero defect program. The platform comprises a suite of tools for decreasing semiconductor manufacturers’ defective parts per million (DPPM) rates, thereby enhancing overall device quality and reliability.
Zero defect programs have become the norm in the auto industry, where quality and yield are critical to the safety and reliability of a company’s products and its bottom line. “Toyota’s selection of Streetwise is a testament to the continued success of the technology and its ability to help achieve DPPM improvement and overall device reliability without compromising manufacturing cost effectiveness,” commented Fabrice Dechoux, CEO of Test Advantage. “Streetwise is a unique, production-proven platform that enhances any device manufacturer’s competitive advantage.”Streetwise is an off-the-shelf, fully automated, in-line, yield-conscious software solution for outlier detection and overall DPPM improvements. Whether trying to implement zero defect programs for high-reliability devices or targeting cost-of-quality improvements for consumer products, Streetwise offers a balanced and comprehensive approach in an integrated data analysis environment to effectively achieve either target.
