Dalsa has introduced two versions of its IPD VA3X vision appliances. The VA30 comes with Dalsa’s iNspect vision-appliance software, while the VA31 includes the Sherlock machine-vision design environment.
The VA3X incorporates its processing power inside the camera controller, as opposed to the camera head, allowing users to position it alongside other controllers for easy interfacing. The dual-camera capability provides cost savings in multi-camera applications. The VA3X provides standard resolutions of 640x480 and 1024x768; resolutions to 1600x1200 are available.
