Systron Donner offers inertial technology industrywide

-- Test & Measurement World, 9/28/2007 1:56:00 PM

Inertial-rate sensor company Systron Donner Automotive announces that its quartz MEMS gyro is now available to all OEMs and suppliers in the automotive industry, marking the end of the exclusivity provision of its supply agreement with Continental Teves. While Systron Donner will continue to supply its product and engineering expertise to Continental Teves, the renewed supply agreement between the two companies now permits greater market freedom.

"This is truly a win/win situation for all parties involved," notes Systron Donner Automotive GM, William Cornwell. "Continental Teves remains a strong and valued customer. Companies that previously were excluded from working with us can now benefit from sourcing our quartz sensors. Equally as important, more drivers and passengers than ever before can enjoy the peace of mind that comes from the enhanced performance and safety that Systron Donner Automotive technology delivers."

The revised supply agreement, effective immediately, enables Systron Donner Automotive to provide any OEM or supplier with its inertial rate sensors. Systron Donner Automotive also possesses the engineering capability, research and development expertise, and intellectual property essential to deliver what any customer demands, including custom-designed complete sensor systems.
