Productronica: Yxlon International presents Feinfocus products

Yxlon International Feinfocus at Productronica presented its Y.Cougar Pro x-ray inspection system, its Y.QuickScan fast CT capability, and its T.FGUI 3.0 software.

Based on the Y.Cougar compact x-ray inspection platform, the Y.Cougar Pro supports both manual and fully automated 2-D and 3-D inspection for electronics, military and aerospace, automotive, telecom, and medical-device applications. Standard features include a digital flat-panel detector and 16-bit real-time image processing.

Designed to handle shrinking device geometries in electronic and electromechanical components, Y.QuickSacn shrinks CT scan times  down to 18 seconds while supporting 3-D reconstruction in two minutes. It works with Y.Cougar and Y.Fox systems.

In addition, the company highlighted its Y.FGUI 3.0 software, which supports real-time x-ray image analysis by positioning ergonomically separated workspaces adjacent to an x-ray image. The software includes an “Easy-View” mode that facilitates operator training and provides for real-time 16-bit image processing. Other features include “Click & Center” and “Frame & Zoom” functions was well as drag-and-drop image optimization and analysis operators.
