Intended for all types of field network architectures, the FIP-400 fiber inspection probe from EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering delivers one of the best resolutions on the market for a handheld field probe. The probe ensures that fiber-optic connectors and adapters are clean and free of any defects, enabling the detection of faults and scratches down to 1 µm.
The FIB-400 is compatible with EXFO’s entire line of products, including the FTB-200 Compact Platform, FTB-400 Universal Test System, FOT-930 MaxTester, and the newly launched AXS-200 SharpTESTER. It can also be used with the company’s lightweight handheld viewer, which features a high-brightness TFT screen that renders crisp images of fiber endfaces, even in bright sunlight.
You can use the FIB-400 for inspecting patchcords, patch panel bulkheads, single-fiber connectors, and multifiber connectors.
