The new ZT4610 oscilloscopes from ZTEC Instruments are 1U height, half-rack width, rack-mountable instruments designed for ATE, aerospace and defense, and embedded applications. The oscilloscopes are available in two- and four-channel versions and offer a 1-GHz analog bandwidth, up to 4 Gsamples/s real-time sampling, and up to 64-Mpoint record lengths. An Ethernet interface enables users to remotely control the oscilloscopes over the Web.
The ZT4610 series calculates more than 40 waveform parameters and includes four calculation channels for performing basic and advanced math on acquired data. Math functions include add, subtract, multiply, integration, differentiation, FFT, histograms, and parameter trending.
Instrument drivers are available for programming environments such as LabView, LabWindows/CVI, Matlab, COM, Visual C/C++, and Visual Studio. Additionally, the company's free ZScope control and display software, which offers a soft panel with the look and feel of a bench instrument, displays acquired waveforms, math waveforms, and waveform parameter data. A ZFind instrument locator and configuration utility enables users to identify what ZTEC instruments are installed on the current host and lets users send commands to, and read back information, from those instruments.
