Inphi unveils 800-MHz DDR3 clock reference board
-- Test & Measurement World, 2/12/2008 11:00:00 AM
Designed specifically for high-performance RDIMM testing, Inphi’s DDR3 clock reference board (CRB) performs beyond JEDEC DDR3-1600 specifications, achieving clock speeds of 800 MHz. The DDR3 CRB enables memory module and system designers to validate DDR3 RDIMMs and simulate system-level functionality, providing a comprehensive validation tool for DDR3 register/PLLs.
A GUI-based test executive offers an easy-to-use interface to develop custom validation routines, while a fully programmable pattern buffer delivers accurate test results by allowing you to create test conditions specific to your applications, rather than relying on preprogrammed patterns. You can also adjust timing for control or address lines in 10-ps steps to precisely resolve limits on your designs, as well as achieve more reliable test results. Input signals are buffered to provide clean reference signals, margin, and voltage timing.
The DDR3 CRB (IN882CRB) is available immediately and is expected to sell for $5000.
