Moritex IR light source covers broad spectrum

-- Test & Measurement World, 2/12/2008 4:00:00 PM

Designated the MHAB-100, this incandescent infrared light source from Moritex offers a broad light spectrum unachievable with LED light sources. The 100-W halogen light source delivers illuminance of up to 30,000 lux across the spectral region of 1000 nm to 1800 nm.

The infrared light emitted by the MHAB-100 penetrates into or through materials, including Si, GaAs, LiNbO3, and LiaO3, facilitating applications such as wafer alignment, MEMS inspection, solar panel inspection, and semiconductor device coaxial transmission observation. Compact in design, the unit provides ±1% light stability over a life span of greater than 1000 hours.

MHAB series light sources can be manually operated or remotely controlled by analog or digital signals and accept an input voltage of 100 V to 240 V, 50/60 Hz.
