Nominations sought for NCSLI metrology awards

Each year NCSL International (NCSLI) presents the William A. Wildhack Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the field of metrology, and for the first time last year, the Education and Training Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the field of metrology education and training through mentorship, tutelage, or dedication to helping and educating others. NCSLI is seeking nominations for both of these awards, which are given to an individual or group of individuals for their contributions to the field. The nomination deadline for both awards is April 21, 2008.
Contributions for the William A. Wildhack Award can be in any appropriate form, including oral presentation, conference paper, technical or administrative innovation or accomplishment, and outstanding leadership to NCSLI. Contributions for the Education and Training Award can be in the form of oral presentation, conference paper, tutorials, training resources, educational programs, technical or administrative innovation or accomplishment, and outstanding leadership to NCSLI in the area of education and training.

Awards will be presented on August 3, 2008, after the keynote address during the NCSLI conference in Orlando, FL.
