SigmaQuest joins Agilent's preferred supplier list

-- Test & Measurement World, 4/15/2008 1:17:00 AM

Business intelligence software provider SigmaQuest is now an Agilent Technologies preferred supplier of test data management and analysis software. As part of the agreement between the two companies, SigmaQuest's SigmaSure Manufacturing Insight software will be used with Agilent's PCB manufacturing test equipment to enable users to get real-time access and insight into their data.

The SigmaSure software uses Agilent manufacturing test systems to deliver a comprehensive PCB test  that helps OEMs and contract manufacturers ensure PCB quality throughout the manufacturing process.

"We have given our customers the means to evaluate manufacturing and product performance results before their products leave the manufacturing floor," said Jack Rozwat, GM, Agilent's Americas Electronics Measurement Test Field Operations. "Using SigmaQuest's Manufacturing Test Insight software with our manufacturing test equipment gives electronic equipment suppliers and contract manufacturers a best-in-class hardware and software solution."

"We are enthusiastic about strengthening our relationship with Agilent, a respected leader in test equipment," said Nader Fathi, CEO of SigmaQuest. "Through our alliance, we expect to provide customers with access to leading-edge test and manufacturing knowledge to enable them to make real-time decisions and collapse their detection to correction times."

SigmaSure Manufacturing Insight can be used with Agilent test equipment through Agilent test programs, such as VEE and the Medalist family, which covers in-circuit test, automated x-ray inspection, automated optical inspection, and repair. The SigmaQuest software provides the visibility to enable tester, fixture, process, and operator optimization. These integration sockets are available now to existing customers on support contract, starting at $7500.
