Geotest inks VAR agreement with AIM-USA

-- Test & Measurement World, 4/24/2008 9:26:00 AM

Under the terms of an agreement with AIM-USA, Geotest-Marvin Test Systems will be providing customers with AIM-USA's line of CompactPCI and PXI avionics interfaces.

Loofie Gutterman, president of Geotest, stressed the benefits of the relationship to both companies. “We are pleased to be a value-added reseller of AIM-USA’s products. Their broad line of avionics interfaces offers outstanding flexibility and functionality for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) and depot level test systems. Working with AIM-USA will help us to expand our test system capabilities for next-generation commercial and military avionics platforms.”

“Geotest’s experience developing systems for the mil-aero market complements our line of avionics interfaces for the commercial and military markets,” added Ken Bisson, AIM-USA VP. “We look forward to working with Geotest as a partner in the development and deployment of avionics test solutions for both military and commercial customers.”

AIM-USA’s avionics interfaces support ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553, AFDX/ARINC-664, Fibre Channel, MIL-STD-1760, and ARINC-615A standards.
