SVS-VISTEK 16-Mpixel camera gains GigE interface

A high-speed version of SVS-VISTEK’s 16-Mpixel svs16000 industrial CCD camera integrates a Gigabit Ethernet interface to achieve a maximum frame rate of 4 fps at a full resolution of 4896X3280 pixels.
The high-speed svs16000-U joins the SVCam-CP family of compact cameras and is the first family member to offer the GigE interface. Like the other models, the svs16000-U is a progressive-scan camera that comes in monochrome and color versions. It is equipped with an interline-transfer CCD from Kodak that is 43.3 mm (diagonal).
The camera’s maximum frame rate is 4 fps at full resolution. However, you can achieve considerably higher frame rates in partial-scan mode. What’s more, binning with 2X2 pixels is also possible for faster readouts and improved signal-to-noise ratio.
For optical interfacing, the svs16000-U can be configured with an M58 thread or an F-mount adapter. Its compact housing is only 70X71X50.5 mm.
SVCapture software allows you to adjust various camera parameters, such as free-running and triggered operating modes. A software development kit and driver simplify integration with machine vision systems.
