The Dash 20HF is the latest addition to Astro-Med’s high-frequency data recorder family. Engineered specifically for long-term capture of high-frequency data and transient signals, the Dash 20HF lets you record up to 20 analog channels to an internal hard drive at sample rates of up to 500 kHz and a bandwidth of 100 kHz per channel.
Portable and rugged, the Dash 20HF provides real-time display and analysis of data. It contains 4 250-V RMS isolated inputs, which you can use to monitor high-voltage or power signals, and 16 35-V RMS differential channels for monitoring low-level signals or inputs from sensors, signal conditioners, and other devices. Each channel input can be independently configured and has a dedicated 16-bit analog-to-digital converter to ensure accurate measurement.
The digital signal processing of the Dash 20HF offers a wide variety of data capture filtering capabilities, including low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, RMS, and notch filtering. Frequency counter inputs are also included.
In addition to a dedicated 250-Gbyte internal hard drive, the recorder furnishes a DVD burner for archiving data. Other features include a 1000BaseT Ethernet interface for data uploading and host control, along with two USB 2.0 ports for archiving data to external peripherals.
You can use the Dash 20HF for applications ranging from transient capture to remote troubleshooting in aerospace, defense, automotive, manufacturing, and other industrial fields. An optional high-security version provides locking, removable hard drives for securing sensitive data.
Prices for the Dash 20HF portable data recorder start at $21,995.
