Tektronix "cooks" for UWB WiMedia 1.2

Tektronix has published Methods of Implementation (MOI) for the Ultra-Wideband (UWB) WiMedia PHY Test Specification Version 1.2. The 60-page document, available as a free download, describes test setups and procedures for transmitter and receiver compliance and interoperability tests. UWB WiMedia is used as the physical-layer interface for wireless USB, wireless IEEE 1394, and Bluetooth.
The document describes transmitter tests such as power, timing, and header tests. Receiver tests include sensitivity and timing.
The MOI provides information on these tests based on software that controls the Tektronix DSA/DPO70000 series oscilloscopes and the AWG7102 waveform generator. www.tek.com/wimedia
