The latest Yellowjacket offering from Berkeley Varitronics Systems is an IEEE 802.11b/a/n/g developer’s kit aimed at WiFi development engineers. Yellowjacket-OEM includes a calibrated WiFi receiver and dynamic link libraries to get engineers up and running with their own custom software development.
You can use Yellowjacket-OEM receiver modules to perform customizable WLAN surveys, interference detection, and packet traffic analysis. The calibrated receiver measures between 2.0 GHz and 5.9 GHz, covering such wireless bands as WiFi, WiMAX, ISM, public safety, and Bluetooth. Yellowjacket-OEM sweeps and demodulates all 802.11b/a/n/g packets, providing MAC address, SSID, SNR, delay spread, and CFR. It also measures RSSI to within +1.0 dBm and contains an internal 12-channel/satellite receiver for geo-coded site surveys. Yellowjacket-OEM modules communicate with any PC via an Ethernet or USB port.
