DSPCon has launched the BroadFlex-3800 series of data recorders, for electronic intelligence (ELINT) and communications intelligence (COMINT) applications. Designed with a small footprint, these flight-capable data acquisition systems are useful in a variety of airborne and shipboard applications.
The BroadFlex-3800 series of recorders are capable of handling a broad range of intermediate frequency (IF) and radar signals at high speeds and high volume. They can accommodate up to 32IF analog signals and record them to two, high-density, ultra-compact storage units. The units offer sampling rates of 35 MHz to 125 MHz and provide from eight to 32 channels of 14-bit analog-to-digital conversion. After a flight, a PC-based analyzer allows the operator to search for and selectively archive data.
All components of the BroadFlex-3800 series are designed to withstand high operating altitudes, and the recorders offer remote monitoring and Ethernet-control capabilities. Optional storage includes 160 and 350 Gbyte disk drives.
