Offered in ranges from 2 g to 500 g, these signal-conditioned accelerometers from Measurement Specialties provide stable vibration measurement over a wide temperature range. The Model 4610 is a low-noise accelerometer boasting long-term stability for DC and low-frequency measurements. The Model 4630 offers the same performance in a compact triaxial package. Alternatively, three Model 4610 accelerometers can be mounted on an optional triaxial mounting block for unique measurements in each axis.
The amplified DC-response devices incorporate integral temperature compensation that produces stable output over a temperature range of –40°C to +115°C. MEMS sensing elements are gas-damped to provide a wide dynamic range and stable frequency response. Assemblies are hermetically sealed for dependable operation in harsh environments and protected against over-range shocks of up to 10,000 g. The ASIC-equipped accelerometers can be programmed to achieve thermal stability and recalibrated for different signal outputs and scale factors.
The Model 4610 and Model 4630 accelerometers are available in measurement ranges of ±2 g, ±5 g, ±10 g, ±20 g, ±50 g, ±100 g, ±200 g, and ±500 g with respective sensitivities of 1000 mV/g, 400 mV/g, 200 mV/g, 100 mV/g, 40 mV/g, 20 mV/g, 10 mV/g, and 4 mV/g.
