Berkeley Varitronics Systems offers the Yellowfin-OEM kit for Mobile WiMAX development engineers. The kit supplies a calibrated Mobile WiMAX receiver and dynamic link library (DLL) software to allow you to create customizable Mobile WiMAX surveys and perform interference detection and packet traffic analysis.
The calibrated receiver enables spectrum analysis between 2.0 GHz and 5.9 GHz, covering popular wireless bands such as WiFi, WiMAX, ISM, public safety, and Bluetooth. Yellowfin-OEM provides demodulation between 2.3 GHz and 3.8 GHz for cell ID and segment information, multipath analysis, and carrier-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio (CINR) on a preamble basis. The receiver measures RSSI to within +1.5 dB of any nearby WiMAX packet on or off your network.
The Yellowfin-OEM receiver kit includes one standard SMA female antenna connection, one 10/100-Mbps Ethernet port, and one mini USB port, along with an internal 12-channel/satellite GPS receiver and all the necessary DLL software and documentation. The kit comes in a water-resistant, high-impact ABS plastic case.
