LXI demonstrations in Europe

Rohde & Schwarz participated in an early European demonstration of LXI technology at Electronica 2006 last week. Rohde & Schwarz demonstrated an LXI-compliant FSQ spectrum analyzer and SMATE200A signal generator working in conjunction with equipment from other companies. Rohde & Schwarz said its LXI-compliant lineup comprises the FSL, FSP, FSU and FSQ spectrum analyzers as well as the SMx signal-generator family.
Also demonstrating LXI products was Pickering Interfaces, which highlighted its new 60-750 and 60-751 LXI microwave matrix products, which can be controlled using a Web browser.
The Electronica LXI presentations follow on the heels of successful demonstrations by LXI Consortium members at Autotestcon in the US.--Rick Nelson
