Rolling out LXI
April 28, 2006
The LXI (LAN eXtensions for Instrumentation) Consortium--founded by Agilent Technologies and VXI Technology in September 2004 and joined by Keithley Instruments a month later--is well into its second year. It now has more than three dozen members, many of whom are beginning to introduce LXI-compatible instruments that you can integrate into existing test systems.
To learn about the current status of LXI, senior technical editor Martin Rowe spoke with Bob Rennard, program manager at Agilent Technologies and president of the LXI Consortium. You can read Rowe's account here, where you'll also find links to related LXI-related articles.
Please use this blog to share your experiences with LXI and to ask for help if you need it. Use the comment link or send me e-mail at rnelson@tmworld.com. Check back often.--Rick Nelson
