Europe showing increased interest in LXI

LXI isn't just a North American phenomenon. Prior to the recent Munich PlugFest, Elgar held a press conference in Paris to introduce the ReFlexPower (RFP) product line. During the conference, I made a presentation on LXI and was pleasantly surprised by the response by the editors in attendance. Even though LXI has largely been a North American initiative, the European editors showed a great deal of knowledge and understanding of the program. One editor even knew about the different classes of LXI instruments and inquired about the reasons behind the classification Elgar chose for its products.
The response to our press conference, combined with the participation of European editors in the Munich PlugFest, shows that the European technical press, at least, has as deep an interest in the capabilities of LXI equipment as we're seeing in North America. It shows that LXI is indeed becoming a global standard.--Peter Allen, Elgar Electronics
