Where do you get old parts?

What do you do when you have obsolete test equipment that you need to keep running? Do you look for old equipment on eBay and buy just for parts? I've heard of this happening quite often, but I've heard more. For example, some people buy old HP Unix workstations for the parts they need to keep old test systems running. What do you do?
