Pineapples and EMC papers
March 13, 2007
On February 17, the IEEE EMC Society announced that over 300 papers will be presented at the 2007 EMC Symposium. No surprise here. What better incentive do engineers need to write a technical paper that to get a trip to Hawaii? I just hope the there will be people in the audience to hear the presentations. Attendance may be down because companies may frown about the expense of sending people to Hawaii as opposed to a mainland location. It will be interesting to compare paper and attendee numbers from 2007 to 2008, when the symposium moves to Detroit. So far, my choice for top convention city is Chicago, site of the 2005 EMC Symposium.
