More on gender bias

Amy Laskowski has the latest on gender bias in the engineering field in her blog “Education and careers.” She comments on a new National Academies study reporting that women engineers and scientists face obstacles in being hired and promoted in research universities. The study appears just as a new book emerges that seems to suggest that women belong in the kitchen.
