Myhrvold defends trolls

Nathan Myhrvold, former Microsoft CTO and current head of patent-holding company Intellectual Ventures, defends patent trolls in today's Wall Street Journal. You need a paid subscription to read his column online, but the gist is that, without strong patent protections, big high-tech firms run roughshod over the rights of small, legitimate patent holders.
I wonder where he got that idea!
