Calculate RLC online

As editor of EDN’s Design Ideas column, I run across all kinds of circuits and software. The May 28 issue included one called Excel spreadsheet yields RLC best-fit calculator that lets you download an Excel spreadsheet so you could find the best standard E-Series (E6, E12, E24, E48, E96 or E192) values for resistors, capacitors, and inductors for your design.

The author, Alexander Bell, has now developed on online version of the calculator. Bell built the online version of the RLC Best Fit Calculator using Microsoft ASP.NET, C# and AJAX. Bell says that the calculator provides "high interactivity, responsiveness and overall rich user experience and best of all, it’s made in New York City."
