NI teams with Tektronix on 10-Gsample/s, 3-GHz PXI scope
August 5, 2009
Austin, TX. National Instruments kicked off day 2 of NIWeek by announcing a 10-Gsample/s, 3-GHz PXI digitizer capability. NI’s Eric Starkloff said NI worked with Tektronix on the project. Craig Overhage, CTO of Tektronix, said Tek had been looking at how to bring its high-bandwidth, high-sampling-rate oscilloscope technology to customers who prefer a modular-instrument architecture. Tek, he said, decided to work with NI on the project. The project is a work in process, and products should be available next year.
