iNEMI schedules medical electronics workshop
iNEMI is holding a medical electronics workshop May 4-5 in Santa Clara with the goal of providing new insights into one of the fastest growing areas of electronics. Speakers represent medical OEMs and their key suppliers and research entities including GE Healthcare, Sorin Group, Sanmina-SCI, Intel-GE Care Innovations, Stanford-India Biodesign, and TechSearch International.
iNEMI says the workshop will focus on the product development challenges. Speakers and attendees will identify challenges that can be met and gaps that can be closed through a collaborative approach. The meeting objectives are to
- evaluate medical electronics product development opportunities that would benefit from industry collaboration,
- form action groups to define and execute the required collaborative programs, and
- define research and development needs to support these programs.
And if you are in Silicon Valley next week you will also want to attend the Embedded Systems Conference.
