Three under $500: PXI

- September 4, 2012

So, I’ve got modular test on my mind. I thought I’d take a look and see what I could get on eBay to kluge together a benchtop test system. Here’s what I found today. What do you think? (Note that they may disappear as they are sold, and, also, please note that Test&Measurement World and its parent company do not guarantee the exchanges and items, and have not screened participants in any trading that may occur. If you have a cool, vintage, or interesting item up for sale, email us or post a comment below about it. We’re happy to share it with the masses. .)

So, yes, all three of these products are from NI. I did find some items from Aeroflex, Pickering, Agilent, Geotest, and Ascor, but they either didn’t meet my $500 limit, weren’t really a good fit for my needs, or were broken and being sold for parts (an Aeroflex part was broken, cost $99 and $38 to ship. I’m thinking if it’s not working… it doesn’t have to be that well packed!)
