My new home office: Update 1

While having the new desk in my new home office was a huge improvement, it still left me with a sore left wrist from the trackball. This morning, I installed a keyboard tray to get the trackball and keyboard into a lower, more comfortable position. The first thing I noticed was that my chair was too high. My knees hit the tray so the chair had to come down.So far, so good. But, my left wrist was still not in a good position. The problem was the pitch of the trackball. It still prevented my wrist from being straight. A wrist pad wasn’t the answer, at least not under my wrist. So, I used the wrist pad as a wedge to level the trackball (see photo). That feels better. We’ll see how it goes, but I see another run to an office-supply store in the near future. The keyboard needs a wrist rest now, too.
