Multitest combined platform tests high-power ICs

The MT9928 gravity handler from Multitest works with the company’s ecoAmp Kelvin contactor and test interface boards to form a system for testing high-power ICs up to 500 A. Capable of handling a variety of packages commonly used for power devices, including TO, SO, QFN, DPAK, and power modules, the MT9928 offers tri-temperature testing from -55°C to +155°C and throughput of up to 28,000 units/hour.

Test-site temperature accuracy is to within ±2.0°C with stability of ±0.5°C. If the large soak capacity of the MT9928 is not sufficient, a soak boaster is available that cuts the soak time by 50%. The thermal performance and high positioning accuracy of the platform, part of Multitest’s Plug & Yield program, ensure reliable testing and high test yield.
