Data Translation releases VIBpoint Framework V3.0

The latest version of VIBpoint Framework, Data Translation’s vibration test software, provides tools to output stimuli with waveform generation. Version 3.0 also adds real-time analysis to the company’s DT9837, DT8837, and DT9838 vibration and strain test products.

VIBpoint Framework is navigated through a series of configuration windows, allowing engineers to select the desired acquisition, processing, plotting, and display parameters. New waveform-output features provide continuous or burst DAC output of noise, swept sine, and fixed-frequency waveforms.

Noise options include random, random normal, and pink; continuous, burst, and repeat-burst output; and true random and pseudo-random noise. Swept-sine options include start/end and output frequency values; single sweep and loop; and linear and log frequency change. Fixed-frequency options cover output frequency value; sine, square, ramp, and triangle wave; and continuous, burst, and repeat-burst output.

A full-featured beta version of VIBpoint Framework V3.0 is available for downloading and is timed to expire on September 7, 2012. A VIBpoint Framework V2.1 license key costs $1495.
