Anritsu LTE device testers gain Band 14 coverage

Anritsu announced that its full portfolio of LTE device testers, including three LTE-capable test platforms and two LTE-focused test systems, now provides Band 14 functionality to support the public safety community.

Applications for these platforms address the entire LTE device-development chain, from functional test to PTCRB certification and aftermarket repair.

Each of Anritsu’s LTE-capable platforms—the MD8430A and MD8475A signaling testers and the MT8820C one-box tester—can establish LTE calls and perform specific classes of measurements on LTE devices. The MD8430A is aimed at protocol testing; the MD8475A is used for functional and application testing; and the MT8820C focuses on lower-layer RF parametric test. Both of the LTE-focused test systems are built on the MD8430A as the core engine and include the ME7873L RF conformance test system and the ME7834L mobile device platform.
