Peak launches PXI-based integrated test desk

Aimed at production test environments, the Peak Group’s PXI test desk offers an integrated framework for PXI-based instrumentation, receiver interfacing using mass-interconnect modules from Virginia Panel, and associated power distribution and safety circuity.

The unit provides 13U of instrumentation space and an additional 6U of limited-depth instrumentation space (rear mounted).

A basic setup includes a 19-in. instrument rack with slides, mains distribution and safety-circuit box, mains sequencing unit, a fully configured backpanel, inlet and exhaust fans, and door interlock set. It can also be configured with an industrial PC or PXI controller, a 19-in. flat-screen monitor fitted to a monitor arm, keyboard, mouse, and barcode reader.
