Understanding, Planning and Performing Climatic and Dynamic Tests to MIL-STD-810G

This class will describe the tests, test equipment, and test methodologies required by the new MIL-STD-810G standard. The course include an overview of sine and random vibration as well as classical waveform shock testing, drop testing, and shock-response-spectrum testing. It will also cover instrumentation, vibration equipment, control systems, and fixture design. Each climatic test will be discussed individually, focusing on requirements, origination, equipment required, test methodology, and understanding of results.
