T&MW Awards Nomination Procedure
Deadline: Wednesday, November 5, 2008.
- Best in Test Awards honor new products introduced over the past year.
- The Test of Time Award honors a product introduced at least five years ago that continues to provide state-of-the-art service.
Please review the rules below and follow the Nomination Procedure in order to enter your product in the awards program. (For more information about these awards, go to the Awards Page.)
Best in Test Awards: Eligibility Rules
Only products or services that were released between November 1, 2007, and October 31, 2008, are eligible. From all nominations received, our editors will select the Best in Test finalists, which we will feature in our December/January issue. Readers will be asked to visit our Website for more information about each product and to cast their votes for the Best in Test Award winners. We will select the winner in each category and the Test Product of the Year from a combination of reader votes and editorial staff votes.
Test of Time Award: Eligibility Rules
Only products or services that were introduced before January 1, 2004, are eligible. Editors will choose the Test of Time finalists from the nominations, and we will announce them in the December/January issue. Readers and editors will then vote for the Test of Time Award winner.
Nomination Fee
For each product/service that you nominate for a Best in Test Awards or the Test of Time Award, the entry fee is $225.00.
Nomination Procedure
1. Purchase an 'Order Number' from our secure online payment form. You must purchase a separate number for each product or service that you intend to nominate. For each entry fee that you submit, you will immediately receive an e-mail that includes a unique Order Number. (If you are unable to pay the entry fee online, see the note below.)
2. Download one of two Word documents:

Best in Test Award Nomination Form (2009_BITNom.doc)
or

Test of Time Award Nomination Form (2009_TOTNom.doc)
You will use the form to explain why the product or service deserves an award.
3. Open the Word document, and fill in the required fields—including the Order Number. Be sure to explain why this product or service deserves an award—what makes it innovative or unique?
4. Save the Nomination Form, following the directions provided in the Word document.
5. Send the Nomination Form and any supporting materials to us, following the directions provided in the Word document.
6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for additional entries.
