Ad Material Submittal: Preferred file format is PDFx1a. Instructions for submitting PDFs are available at www.ads4Reed.com. If a PDF is not available, all application files should be sent to Joshua Levin-Epstein (see contact information below).All images must be 300dpi, CMYK or grayscale, and meet SWOP standards and saved in TIFF or EPS format without embedded color profiles. Embed all fonts. Use only Adobe Type 1 fonts. Do not embed ICC profiles within images. Files should be 100% of print size. Standard trim, bleed, and center crop marks should appear 1/4” outside of trim. PDFs should be created from Acrobat Distiller and not from native application. A color proof must accompany your file. If color is critical, you must supply SWOP stan-dard of proof. Include all fonts (printer and screen fonts). Do not com-press graphics using JPEG or LZW. Include all placed graphics. Do not embed images in your file. Do not trap files. Do not send images in RGB format. Matched Pantone color should be simulated using CMYK.

Production Services: Minor corrections may be made, for a charge, at Publisher’s option. Simple show-line strip-ins are accepted, at Publisher’s option, at no charge, providing requests for such are received on or before closing date for insertion orders. Materials requiring production work must be received by the published closing date or rush charges will be incurred. Production charges are non commissionable.
